Welcome to the Aquanatal website. I’m Mary. I’m a chartered physiotherapist and qualified and experienced aquacise instructor, and I teach Aquanatal classes at this lovely pool in Knebworth. (Near Stevenage in Hertfordshire.)
To encourage you to come I could offer a solemn list of the dangers of not exercising when pregnant;
I could (and do if you keep looking!) offer a long, long list of the benefits of my classes for you, your baby and your family;
I could tell you these are really reasonably priced classes, run in a beautiful location by a highly qualified and experienced health professional and it could be the best returning investment you make for your family in the next few months;
But instead I say… It is fun and it works! No matter what shape or size you are, come and join in.

My only regret is that I did not start this sooner in my pregnancy. Mary is incredibly knowledgeable, supportive and fun! All of above mentioned very necessary when you don’t particularly like exercise like me… Did I mention it’s only a fiver and in a nice pool? I was able to attend right up to the very end before birth as Mary tailored my exercise according to my ability. Being in water when you are overdue is not only relaxing but takes the weight off your back and legs, even if it’s just for 45 minutes. I can really recommend her services to all mums before and after birth.

I have been attending Mary’s class since February and I cannot recommend it enough. The class is a great workout for pre and post natal mums with a perfect balance of strengthening and relaxation exercises. It’s never to late to start prenatal exercise so contact Mary today.

This class is really great, I would definately recommend it to anyone. I hate exercise classes (a fitness class is usually my idea of hell!) but you are under water and so who cares if you don’t get the hang of stuff straight away. The bigger I’m getting the more I’m enjoying trying to so some form of exercise and being in water does help. The teacher is really good and the music changes every week. Give it a try!

I also wanted to say a big thank you – I really enjoyed your classes and can’t thank you enough for all the reminders about the wonders of pelvic floor exercises!!! Very useful!
It was also a great opportunity to meet other people in the same boat and compare notes - [we] have kept in touch and are meeting up regularly!!
